Current Ballot Questions

The City Council may place ballot questions on any General Election ballot. The next General Election will be held on November 8, 2022.

At its regular meeting March 22, 2022, the City Council approved one question for the 2022 Municipal General Election ballot regarding selling 16.3 acres of City-owned land to develop a grocery store and retail.  

At its regular meeting on April 12, 2022 the City Council approved an additional ballot question regarding clean energy technologies and natural gas be approved uses within the Eldorado Valley Transfer Area.

At its regular meeting on April 12, 2022, the City Council approved an additional ballot question regarding spending up to $7 million from the Capital Improvement Fund for improvements to public safety facilities.  

The City is seeking volunteers to write the arguments for and against passage of the ballot questions.  If you are interested in serving on a ballot question committee, please complete the volunteer data sheet below, and return the form to the City Clerk's office at cityclerk@bcnv.org, or 401 California Avenue, Boulder City NV 89005.
