NEVADA WAY WEEK 4 UPDATE - 8.4.2025: The contractor, Unicon, and their subcontractors are continuing work forming curb and gutter, sidewalk, access ramps and driveways. Replacement of two water main valves, one on Nevada Way and one on Ash Street, went very well. Several more water service replacements and new backflow prevention device installations were completed last week.
Due to the narrowing of the road, parallel parking was temporarily striped on the south side from Wyoming to Avenue B. Street Division. Crews did a great job laying out the temporary striping.
Based on the final design, one tree does need to be removed and replaced. The existing tree west of the kiosk message board in front of 521 Nevada Way (Lady Boutique) is too close to the new curb and gutter and needs to be removed to make way for the new dedicated walkway. A new tree will be installed outside of the new dedicated walkway to replace the tree removed as part of this work.

BOULDER CITY - Reconstruction on Nevada Way is scheduled to begin on Sunday night, July 6th at 10:00 PM. The project will continue until on or about September 25, before major fall events start in the City. During the project, parking along Nevada Way will be limited at various points.
