UPDATED 10/29 - BOULDER CITY - Nearly 500,000 Nevadans receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, Due to the current governement shutdown, many may not receive their benefits in November. Boulder City residents who are furloughed from their U.S. Government jobs, rely on SNAP benefits, or if you recently lost your income, help may be available from area agencies. These benefits are crucial for many families, including children, older adults, and people with disabilities.

• 2025 Shutdown Legal Aid Information for Furloughed Workers
• Community members can also search for food pantries and emergency food distributions through Three Square’s website: www.threesquare.org.
• For resources available in Boulder City and Clark County, visit http://bcnv.org/help today.
• The State of Nevada is currently looking at ways to supplement those in need. Details on Nevada’s SNAP plan are here.

If you need food assistance, emergency food distributions will be taking place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Las Vegas and Henderson.

  • Central Church – Hope for the City Distribution Center (1001 New Beginnings Dr, Henderson, NV 89011)
• 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM:
  • College of Southern Nevada North Las Vegas (3200 E. Cheyenne Ave, North Las Vegas, NV 89030)
  • UNLV – Thomas & Mack (4505 S. Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89154)
