UPDATED 10/29 - BOULDER CITY - Nearly 500,000 Nevadans receive SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, Due to the current governement shutdown, many may not receive their benefits in November. Boulder City residents who are furloughed from their U.S. Government jobs, rely on SNAP benefits, or if you recently lost your income, help may be available from area agencies. These benefits are crucial for many families, including children, older adults, and people with disabilities.
If you need food assistance, emergency food distributions will be taking place on Saturday, November 1, 2025 in Las Vegas and Henderson.
