Municipal Golf Course - Water Conservation
- The Boulder City Municipal Golf Course turf reduction and irrigation replacement project will begin January 20, 2026 starting with the construction staging area at the corner of Buchanan and Clubhouse Drive. The project is scheduled to begin on the front nine (holes 1-9). During this time, play will be limited to 9 holes. At the completion of the front nine, construction will begin on the back nine (holes 10-18). We appreciate your patience as we replace the outdated irrigation system and remove turf areas to support Boulder City's water conservation effort. Based on feedback from residents at the July 15, 2024 open house and through online survey responses, the turf reduction plan was approved at the August 27, 2024 council meeting and includes removal of approximately 10' of turf between the golf course and adjacent properties. The project also includes the reduction of turf at the entrance of the golf course that will be converted into additional parking. The full scope of the project is estimated to be completed September 17, 2026.
- The turf reduction and new irrigation installation project is scheduled to begin in January 2026. The plan is to close 9 holes at a time to complete the water conservation project.
