Commission Goals
In 2021, the City adopted the Boulder City Historic Preservation Plan, which provides background on past and current work on historic preservation and planning in Boulder City, includes an analysis of historic preservation challenges facing our community and sets goals and objectives for addressing these challenges, and recommendations for maintaining the city’s Certified Local Government (CLG) status. The Historic Preservation Commission oversees the implementation of these goals and have made significant strides in the completion of the majority of these priorities so far. These efforts have enhanced the city's historic character and engaged the community in valuing its heritage. Monthly, the HPC evaluates the city’s progress towards the completion of these objectives.
