Annual Financial Reports

State law requires all local governments publish a complete set of financial statements presented in conformity with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States, and audited by a firm of licensed certified public accountants in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards. To that end, the City of Boulder City's Annual Comprehensive  Financial Reports (AFRs) are presented below. These reports include all disclosures necessary for a comprehensive understanding of the City’s financial activity.

Note:  Prior to FY2022, the name of the report was "Comprehensive Annual Financial Report."  The name was changed with the FY2022 report to be consistent with the national standard for naming such reports (the standard was changed nationally beginning with FY2022).

Certificate of Achievement

For the 27th consecutive year, the City of Boulder City's  Annual Comprehensive Financial Report has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting and reflects the high level of dedication demonstrated by the City Finance Director and their Finance Department staff.
