Hangars and Tie-Downs

At this time, Boulder City Municipal Airport has suspended accepting new waitlist applications for Hangars and Tie-Downs.

• The current waitlists include over 200 requests for hangars and more than 60 for tie-downs.  Currently the wait for a hangar can be over three years and up to two years for a tie-down. 
• Keeping the waitlists open under these circumstances does not effectively serve prospective tenants.
• The Airport will reopen the waitlists once they are reduced to a more manageable level.

To help address the high demand for hangar space at the Boulder City Municipal Airport, the City is actively negotiating with private developers to potentially add 100 or more additional hangars in the next few years.
