An annual renewable permit is issued for businesses who engage in work that are expected to have a higher-than-normal fire hazards or hazardous materials operations. A thorough inspection is conducted annually to help ensure safe operation.
Businesses required to be permitted annually will be physically inspected, a list of deficiencies to be corrected will be addressed with the business owner. Once the deficiencies are corrected and the permits fees are paid, a permit to operate will be issued. These businesses or activities require a permit to operate annually. In some cases, the permit is required only when material quantities exceed a threshold amount.
Permit Fees: $77 per permit
